Quite a hike onto the moors from Dunsop Bridge in the Forest of Bowland; an area designated as of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Quite a difficult waterfall to get too...even harder to get out of, as I discovered. But worth it.

I've visited this location a number of times and never been satisfied with the image composition. The lighting was often flat and uninteresting. Finally, with Pendle Hill between the gate posts as a focus point and some decent clouds, I thought I'd got it but the mood was still not what I was looking for, even in black and white. Love it or hate it, a little work in Lightroom clinched it.
